This 21-page eBook provides an in-depth investigation of a university Master’s level oboe player who experiences a tremendous amount of nervousness, or performance anxiety. The text is broken into six sections: 1.) client description; 2.) goal-setting; 3.) positive self-talk plan; 4.) imagery; 5.) increasing self-efficacy; and 6.) relaxation techniques. As a case study, each section is elaborated upon to provide a picture of what and how this individual experiences performance anxiety. A brief performance plan is provided to help her and the readers cope with some of the symptoms of anxiety.
